PLAIN-ENGLISH TERMS FOR USING THIS SITE
These terms govern your use of the America's Appliance Repair website and services. America's Appliance Repair is a Texas-based appliance service company headquartered at Leander, TX (serving the Greater Austin Area). By using the site or booking service, you agree to these terms.
USE OF THE WEBSITE
You may browse, read, and share the content on americasappliancerepair.com for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, copy, or republish our content for commercial use without written permission. You may not use the site to transmit malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the site's operation.
SERVICE BOOKINGS AND QUOTES
Requesting service through the site — by phone, the booking link, or the contact form — starts a conversation. It does not create a binding contract on its own. A binding service agreement begins when:
- We confirm an appointment window with you in writing or by phone, and
- Our technician arrives, diagnoses the appliance, and provides a written quote that you accept before work begins.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Parts pricing depends on availability and may change if a part has to be reordered.
WARRANTY
Every repair we complete is backed by a 1-year warranty on the specific repair we performed (parts and labor). The warranty covers a return visit if the same issue we addressed comes back within the warranty period. The warranty does not cover:
- New, unrelated issues that develop after the repair.
- Damage from misuse, accidents, power surges, or improper installation by another party.
- Repairs to appliances that were modified after we serviced them.
Full warranty terms are included with your repair invoice.
PAYMENT
Payment is due upon completion of the repair unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers. Financing is available for qualifying repairs — ask when you book.
For commercial accounts, payment terms are typically Net 15 from invoice date unless we have a separate agreement.
CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS
We ask that you give us at least 2 hours of notice if you need to reschedule, so we can offer the slot to another customer. Same-day cancellations after our technician is already en route may incur a trip charge.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We stand behind our work, and our 1-year warranty is the primary remedy if a repair we performed does not hold. To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability for any claim arising from our service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific repair. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — such as food spoilage — except where required by law.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The America's Appliance Repair brand name, logo, and the "Old School Professionals" tagline are owned by America's Appliance Repair. Site content, photos, and copy are owned by us or used under license.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always at americasappliancerepair.com/terms-of-use/. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from your use of the site or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas.
